That is to say, I would have received the paperwork today if I were still in Seattle. I had given notice of my change of address a month ago (like, almost literally). My recruiter sent the notice to GEPIK, but I guess... *sigh* Whatever.
Anyway, luckily I had on-site management in my Seattle apartment, so they are forwarding the paperwork to me here.
Once I do get the paperwork, I’ll have to visit the Korean Consulate to get my visa processed. The thing that sucks is that the nearest consulate is in D.C., a four hour drive from here. I guess it could be worse, but I sure was spoiled in Seattle where the consulate was walking distance.
But at least I know this position is real since the paperwork exists. Looks like I’ll be in Korea within a couple weeks.
