Settling in

I moved into my apartment on the 2nd, but I’m still getting things set up here. I got internet last week. Signed up with clearwire. Love it! Easiest internet setup ever. It’s just a plug and play modem that has… I think it’s the same technology as cell phones (Motorolla makes the modem). So you just plug it into the wall outlet for power, then connect the Ethernet cable from the modem to your computer. And that’s it. No software to install and no one to call to set up the connection. Because the internet signal comes from…I suppose it’s satellite, I can take my computer and modem anywhere in the country where there’s an outlet. As long as there’s a signal, I get internet.

Anyway, didn’t mean to go on about that. Um, other things…I’m really liking the location I’m at. I’m walking distance to most of my favorite places in Seattle. My commute to work has been cut in half. Though, on that note, they aren’t giving me many hours, so I need to find something else.

Hmm…what else was I going to say… I can’t remember, but I was sure there was something else I was going to say. Oh, well. It was time for an update anyway.
